Kindness Prevails: "Whiter Days" by Soleil
A lovely review by Krysta Best… Thank you.
Okay, so, one day, I was sitting around my house, feeling pretty bummed out about life. This is the idealist’s dilemma: feeling terribly disappointed about the fact that people are totally apathetic to the problems of the world; that people don’t see the need for communities in which they feel…
One day…

Photo shoot in Joshua tree. This was so much fun I hope everyone likes them!
Did You Know That…
We took a trip to Joshua Tree for a photo shoot on saturday last, and ended up staying there with our wonderful friends. Don’t resist the vortices of the place because you may just experience something good.
The Evangenitals, lovely name, headlined the indoor stage at Pappy and Harriet’s, which supplied us with much dancing material. They killed it with their female-johnny cash influenced folk-rock. So much so, we all forgot to take any photos of the grand debauchery. I highly recommend getting your dance shoes on and getting out to one of their live shows.
Next stop was a birthday party but I’m pretty sure we ditched the car and took the Tardis, because I feel like we flew back into the 60’s.
The artist filled pseudo- commune was only lacking an organic garden and roaming barnyard animals to complete the picture. There was even a painting corner! I do wish my birthday parties were that amazing every year but alas, the only couch surfing flame-baton twirler I know won’t return my calls (video soon?).
The photo shoot itself went very well, we do love that Andrew! A few pieces are coming soon and they really capture the nature and mystery of the valley. Had we known the place was made of such strange magic we would’ve made it a point to have an adventure out there much sooner.
…Now You Know.
